Members & Volunteers

Members

Members are important! They support AMICI through their attendance, participation, volunteerism and donations.

Membership fees also help AMICI to develop the museum and interpretive centre , building our collections, and presenting new exhibitions and programs.

Our Supporting Memberships are annual, and are in one of three groups: adult, family, senior/student.

With a Founding Membership of $100 or greater, members can also have their names, or those of loved ones, permanently added to our Founding Members Wall.

Founding membership is limited to 1000 names, so reserve your place on our wall now!

Membership benefits include free admission to all AMICI exhibitions and programs, voting privileges at AMICI’s Annual General Meeting, including nomination and election to the Board of Directors, and advance notice of special events. Founding members are also entitled to income tax receipts above the level of supporting membership and acknowledgement in AMICI’s Annual Report and on the website (for one year).

For more information please read our membership pamphlet (opens a PDF in a new window).

Volunteers

Who are our volunteers? Although our small dedicated group is comprised of individuals from different backgrounds, each brings diverse skills to their work at AMICI, and each is committed to helping build a legacy to the Italian-Canadian community. Without their support, AMICI would not exist!

As we face this exciting time of transition and growth, AMICI needs even more volunteers. If you want to make an important contribution to the cultural life of the Italian-Canadian community, and are interested in learning more about Italian-Canadian history and immigrant history, or meeting new people, please consider joining our volunteer group.

Stay tuned! We soon hope to profile some of our dedicated volunteers.
